In fact, we have an erasable board in the break room where I work where employees write a word or phrase and others build on it. It was blank this morning when I arrived, so I printed "4/4/68" to remember what happened on this horrible day (not morning, Bono!) in 1968 when MLK was gunned down.
But to show you how quickly time passes and how that date or numbers may not mean anything to someone who didn't grow up in that era, one of our youngest employees followed my numbers with, "Who do we appreciate?" (as in "4, 4, 6, 8!")
I had to let him know that my bit wasn't meant to be turned into a chant!
