But the political humor program "The Jimmy Dore Show" (originating from KPFK/
Berkeley) ran a recent sound clip from Robertson that is goofy for sure. A woman was on (or phoned in to) Robertson's TV show, saying that she needed help; she suspected her husband of cheating.
Robertson's advice: "The first thing you need to do is make yourself as attractive as possible." Which makes it pretty clear that Robertson believes the woman who contacted the show, not the spineless cheater, is at fault. Not sure what the second part of PR's advice was, after "dress to kill." Could it have been, "Pretend he's Hugo Chavez and take him out"?
Reminds me of Ry Cooder's "The Girls from Texas," where the other woman in the song finds out her man is married, and shoots him. "She was guilty/I was dead," says Cooder. "What do you think that ol' judge said?" Judge: "Aw, that's just the way the girls are here in Texas--case dismissed!"
