1) I will forever rail against overkill when it comes to syndicated programs on radio (there are way too many of them), but I do like Tom Kent's show, which you can hear just about everywhere. When Kent played the cheesy Eddie Murphy 1980s hit "Party All the Time" recently, he said, "Wow, and it's got a Casio keyboard, too!"
This kind of upbeat sarcasm makes what Kent does far more memorable than the rather
traditional Dick Bartley, who wouldn't "stoop" to such a thing.
2) Hey, considering that baseball's Mark McGwire has now admitted to steroid use back in the 1990s, it's fun to speculate who will come clean next. I say Michael Bolton.
